Ce site, en nom de domaine russe, hébergeait le film musical Nouveau Noum, compagnon du livre.
For technical reasons, and in light of the geopolitical situation in Eastern Europe from 2022 onwards, La Capitainerie has decided to close the NouveauNoum.ru website, which was originally linked to Saint Octobre’s book Nouveau Noum. This website, with a Russian domain name, hosted the musical film Nouveau Noum, which accompanied the book.

Ces films sont maintenant en libre accès sans mot de passe pour un visionnage personnel et privé. Nommé d’après Noum, dieu du vent et des grandes tempêtes des populations nomades Nénètses du Nord de la Russie, “Nouveau Noum” raconte en version poétique électro la folle grandeur et les abîmes profonds des principaux évènements qui, au-dessus du cercle polaire, marquèrent l’exploitation de l’énergie atomique par l’Empire soviétique, puis russe.

Named after Noum, god of wind and great storms among the Nenets nomadic peoples of northern Russia, New Noum recounts in poetic electro style the mad grandeur and profound depths of the major events that marked the exploitation of atomic energy above the Arctic Circle, by the Soviet, then Russian, Empire.
